Operation Military Support was founded in December 2002. With a
conversation between friends about the movement of troops into
Kuwait, a non-profit organization wads formed in January 2003, #
56-231509. Operation Military Support is a 100% volunteer
organization and every dollar goes directly to benefit our troops on
foreign soil.
Our mission will always be to let all our military men and women
know that America is supporting them in their mission. It is not
only our mission; it is our Mission.
Operation Military Support supplies volunteers with names of the
military men and women that request support for their self or the
men and women of their unit. We post these names on our website
under “Request a name.” You can volunteer also by going to
www.operationmilitarysupport.com, then go to “request a name”
and fill out a form. A name will be emailed to you so that you can
write to and support a soldier in Iraq, Afghanistan, Korea, or
Kuwait.
Anyone can be involved in supporting our troops; Schools,
businesses, community organizations, churches and individuals can
write letters or collect items to donate for operation military
support to send overseas.
We send packages overseas on a weekly basis. Some commanders request
items not for their use but for those who need our help, such as
support for hospitals, schools, Iraqi children and the Iraqi army
they stand with in battle.
